Our Staff

Michael Andre’ Frady was born in New Orleans, LA and came to New England in 1984 when he was stationed at the Naval War College, Newport, RI.  He and his wife, Joyce raised their two daughters in the home they built in Little Compton, R.I.

Rev. Frady earned his Master of Divinity degree from Andover Newton Theological School, where he also had a concentration in Spiritual Care.  His call to ministry is one that he considers to be “a lingering call I’ve had most of my life; one that began when I was an Altar Boy in the Catholic Church.  God’s call persisted, and grew stronger, especially through the years I served as a Deacon.”

When asked about his sense of call to serve as pastor of Mattapoisett Congregational Church, Rev. Frady replied: “I love how MCC is committed to extending hospitality, growing spiritually, and serving the community through a variety of mission programs. This is an active church where members are engaged in a variety of ministries, faithfully partnering with the pastor in the service of Jesus Christ. Our work together is God-center, faithful to Jesus’ teachings, and receptive to the guidance of the Holy Spirit.”

Michelle Gordon has been the Director of Music since 2015. She has been involved in music at the Mattapoisett Congregational Church since 1986 when she began as the organist.

She has taught private piano in Mattapoisett since 1991. A certified member of the Music Teachers National Association, She is also a Past President of the Massachusetts Music Teachers Association, and was voted “MMTA Teacher of the Year” in 2009.

She has been the Accompanist for the Sippican Choral Society since 2000.

She lives in Mattapoisett with her husband, Ed. They have two adult children and two beautiful grandchildren.

Tina has been the administrative assistant since May of 2017. She  lives in Rochester with her husband.  She has two adult children and one beautiful grandchild.

She enjoys gardening, reading and quilting. She has a long history of administrative work in the medical field but finds working in a faith based environment her most rewarding career where she is able to be creative and helpful to those in need.

The CHURCH OFFICE is open from 8 am-1 pm Monday and Thursday for walk in business and is located on the 2nd floor (same as the sanctuary) at the top of the stairs from the Church Street ramp entrance. We are very thankful to have Bryan to look after the church and church yard.

He and his wife reside in Mattapoisett with their two children. He is also the owner of a property maintenance company.
